Honey Loaves Recipe

This is a great recipe because the loaves can be made in miniature and will accompany virtually any meal.


  • 2 Cups Whole wheat flower 
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  •  ½ tsp baking soda 
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  •  ½ tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 cup honey 
  • ¼ cup sugar 
  • Pinch of coffee granules 
  • A little safflower oil 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1- The first step is to turn your oven on to 350°F; allowing it to heat up as you prepare the dough.

2- Now add the baking soda, flour and baking powder, and any salt you want to a bowl and blend them thoroughly.

3- Next, stir in the ginger and cinnamon.

4- Separately place the eggs and sugar into a bowl and whisk them together; you can use an electric whisk if desired.

5- Then add the honey, vanilla extract and coffee. Continue whisking for another minute.

6- You can then add the flour mixture and add some nuts if desired.

7- Once fully stored pour the mixture into your loaf pans; it should make 4 mini loaves or one large one. 

8- Bake the bread for 15 minutes before turning. It should take approximately 30 minutes in total.

9- Allow the bread to cool for 5 minutes before removing the loaves and leaving them to cool completely.
